Since the conditions were different at the time of signing the contract, and the reservation was paid for, we contacted both booking and the apartment owner with a question about canceling the reservation, and after repeated refusals about rescheduling the reservation. We received a refusal from the landlord several times, and booking.com also rejected all kinds of changes, despite the fact that booking.com indicated a refund or rescheduling of the reservation in case of force majeure. To what extent do I believe that the landlord is not friendly to visitors, and booking.com is not interested in such issues. This situation proves that booking.com is not focused on the customer, but on indifference in essence. When calling booking.com, we received exactly the same indifference, which in my opinion is not fair to customers. Great location and beautiful view. Positive: I had a very nicestay at this property. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The appartment was very clean, and the rooms were well maintained. The location is perfect, with easy access to all the main attractions.
